Alaska Rugby

Adult Rugby

The sport of rugby has been played by Alaskans in Alaska since 1973.  Through the years, the Alaska sport and the Alaskan teams have ebbed and flowed.

Alaska Rugby is excited to announce that the Alaska Rugby Union is strong enough to have two divisions.

  • Division One will have the strongest Alaskan sides and offer rugby players with considerable athletic talent, fitness, and game skill to compete at a high level.
  • Division Two will consist of sides from Anchorage, Kenai, and Fairbanks with two newly formed teams joining the mix.  Division Two will offer seasoned players and beginners the opportunity to play rugby competitively with emphasis on player development and social engagement.

Alaska Rugby also has a very large and active Old Boy/Classics contingent that plays in the Last Frontier and tours internationally.  If you come to Alaska Rugby with years of experience and you’re looking for fellowship and some friendly matches on the pitch, our rugger alumni welcome you to join us!

Please complete our registration form.  Our staff will be in touch!  Cheers!
